Integration

Integration is “the act of making entire; whole.” To integrate is “to renew; to restore; to perfect; to make a thing entire.” To be integral is “a whole; an entire thing.” As an adjective, integral is “making part of a whole, or necessary to make a whole; not fractional; complete; not defective.”—Webster’s American Dictionary
  Integration is “the action or process of integrating; psychologically, integration is the coordination of processes in the nervous system, including diverse sensory information and motor impulses; in psychoanalysis, integration is the process by which a well-balanced psyche becomes whole, and the state which results or which treatment seeks to create by countering the fragmenting effect of defence mechanisms.”
  Disintegration is “the process of losing cohesion or strength, to become weaker or be destroyed by breaking into small pieces; the process of coming to pieces; to become much worse.”—Oxford English Dictionary

“Soul integration is the purpose of ascension of consciousness.”—Edna Lister

By taking on form in a physical body, the soul has lost its original integration with God, the Light, its source of being. Soul ascension requires that you heal your soul’s disintegration by gathering together and redeeming your life sparks of soul substance, and mending all schisms in consciousness. Unless you complete the process of integrating of your whole soul in all its parts, especially morally and ethically, you cannot be fully integrated or claim to have integrity. Thus, soul integration is the purpose of ascension of consciousness.

“If two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”—Matthew 18:19. When someone’s interference wrecks your plans, go to the Father, accept it and say, “Thank Thee, Father, for this lesson, which means added illumination.” Put it on the altar to consider why it came and what it will do for you. Then say, “Thank Thee that Thy agent has appeared to bring me a lesson.” God uses disintegrators. Your task is to learn to integrate, to build, to fill people, organizations, and situations with Light. God’s agent then becomes your responsibility. An enemy is thus made your footstool. Let him build you higher, and use the experience as a step up in consciousness.
  Say, “Thank Thee, Father, for the illumination that gives me the lesson, for opening my eyes to see.” Leave the memory of the experience on the altar in Light, and declare that it is wiped clean. Nothing is hidden from those who have earned the right to know, who have stood under the Light and lifted. You can’t be hurt while you are standing in the Light. The Father does not make tempters or disintegrators of men. They choose to do and be so themselves. Vanity and greed for power are the two central motives that render them unconscious of the good and consume them.
  Allow only the good, the very good, only Light, the very Light in your kingdom. Pronounce all things good and very good. Permit no darkness at all in your place, or be bound by the limitations of your past.

The wicked are cut off, denied access to further soul substance from their Oversoul star, when they have fully accomplished their work of disintegration and tempting. “Thus saith the Lord, and so it shall be.” The faithful stand, amid even ruins, rejoicing in the law and fully praising the Father, who knows all, from the beginning to the end.
  Watch in humility lest you lay the train of selfishness in your consciousness, which might break out in ages to come. “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”—Matthew 5:48. Every letter of the alphabet releases its own unique vibration, and so does every word formed of those letters. As a perfected transformer of Power, Light will automatically attune you to release the amount of Power right for you, according to your degree and kind. When you are negative in your expression, you release no Power, but misuse your own soul substance as force.
  When a soul misuses too much of its own soul substance, it loses access to its own Oversoul, which is put into a deep sleep like the Sleeping Beauty. When that embodied soul depletes its available soul substance, disintegration then begins. Unless the soul repents, it will become a like a vampire, feeding on the soul substance of others. The predatory soul becomes nothing more than the sum of it impulses and appetites, addicted to sensations and devoted to snaring others in its web of illusions. It seeks the foolish and weak-willed, pretending to love and need them while draining them of vitality and joy. Ignorant or innocent sympathy for any such predator soul puts your own soul in a position of deadly danger as the victim of expert mental and emotional manipulation and control.—Edna Lister, August 18, 1945.

God does not make anyone into a disintegrator, but He uses one. The good and not-good results for tearing down old forms are credited to the disintegrator—the new forms made from the ashes of destruction, and the destruction itself. God does not make a disintegrator, but He uses them for good. The Father uses everyone who curses to raise evil from earth. Like attracts like, so even the Communists, who curse our government, are in turn used to lift darkness from earth.—Edna Lister, September 25, 1952.

God stands behind His immutable Law of Good. So we call Senator Joe McCarthy good because he causes many Americans—who would otherwise be indifferent to the dangers of Communist infiltration—to become indignant at the threat to our republic. God knows how to use a good disintegrator to tear down old forms. As the Elect we are the best God has, and we release His Light as the power of love that pulls the world up into peace.
  Consider this, to make pure jelly, you must skim off the cooking scum as it rises to the top , not curse it or push it back into the pot. So don’t curse the McCarthys of this world or you will lose your place and fail to increase God’s good. To help cure earth, move up to your room of Light so the Master can work through you.
  Love every soul as a son or daughter of God, and don’t curse anyone. Love the Communists in Russia and Red China with the love of God for God, but kick them north, up to God, at the same time. Act in a way that lets the Master direct the Power you release to increase the good. You can speak the Word to dissolve a form, but not to destroy a mind, for only God can wipe out identity, which is carried in mind. God never makes a disintegrator, but He allows the one who tears down old forms to do so.—Edna Lister, May 25, 1954.

“In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.”—Genesis 3:19. The Anglican burial service reads, “We therefore commit his body to the ground; earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust; in sure and certain hope of the Resurrection to eternal life, through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
  When the priest says, “earth to earth,” the words bless the disintegration of form; “ashes to ashes” signals the cremation of the soul debt residue for the transition (physical death) to that soul’s point of origin, according to its degree.—Edna Lister, July 6, 1954.

When you lift your voice in song, it’s like tuning a radio dial to the Joy Station, WJOY. The candle of joy flames in your heart when you sing. Joy moves through cross-vibrations and brings your scattered parts together. Unless you are always God-conscious, your appetitive soul impulses scatter your desires, thinking and imagination so you have no visions or soul-flights at night. Before you sleep, ask the Father to help you to gather together your scattered soul parts.
  Sing the words of the Declaration of Unquenchable Love to integrate your soul substance. Religious congregations are rarely taught to enter the worship service in devotion. Thus, they drain the Power from the minister’s words, and everyone loses. Do not bring the minister an empty zombie-like shell, but your devotion and joy.—Edna Lister, July 11, 1954.

The body itself is of no use to you after your ascension, however you are responsible for redeeming, lifting, and reintegrating the life sparks of your soul substance. Every soul must do this on earth, eventually.
  The process of drawing the life sparks together to reintegrate them works this way: You draw the soul substance life sparks from the physical cells to the desire body molecules. In turn, you draw the desire body molecules into the mental body atoms, and from the atoms to the electronic fire body, which is purely spiritual.—Edna Lister, October 15, 1957.

As a category on the outer, we use timing in the form of antecedence and sequence to relate events, which makes integration of all outer experiences possible. Time also expresses the law of mental synthesis. You bind and relate your different actions and experiences to time so that you can, by locating one time in your memory bank, find your way to all other related times.—Edna Lister, October 22, 1957.

Start with the laws that Jesus taught, then arrange all the facts as you know them, and your experiences, according to law. A sound hypothesis will integrate the known facts with every law of the universe.—Edna Lister, May 1, 1958.

"Abstain from all appearance of evil."—1 Thessalonians 5:22. Evil is devoid of honor. You may not and cannot afford to compromise with evil, for evil does not compromise, but only lies when it says it will. God does not divide, but unites, integrates and increases the good. Everything that separates the unity of the good is of the devil.
  We endorse oneness and integration. Therefore, do not let your name be associated with a vibration of separation, or condemn even those persons devoted to or working evil. You cannot avoid speaking the Word to lift the effects of evil, or to speak the names of the workers of evil. The fact is that Light is melting and absorbing evil even as you speak the Word for this. No soul can fully integrate his soul substance until he has lifted all trace of evil experiences from it.—Edna Lister, October 27, 1958.

Integration of the three phases of your soul is the most important work you do on the Via Christa. Soul integration is the purpose of ascension of consciousness. The subconscious mind of appetitive soul must point out what you are missing. It calls your words back to you, warns you, tells you what to do, and registers what your actions are doing to the other person.
  The rational soul consciousness reintegrates what has been divided during earth experiences, all the mental and emotional conflicts that separate your whole being. Oversoul reintegrating the rational and appetitive soul is the final integration into the oneness of the Christ Mind, becoming one with the All-That-Is.—Edna Lister, May 7, 1959.

You cannot reintegrate your soul substance life sparks into your Oversoul unless you transfigure them from the physical to the spiritual. Transfiguration is the Mystic Degree initiation. When Jesus was transfigured, he recalled and integrated his past incarnations as Moses and Elijah.
  A catalyst brings together two different substances and transfigures them into a new, common substance, which is the vibratory rate of balance between the visible and invisible worlds, the function a mediator serves. Pythagoras and Plato referred to this balance-point as the Abyss to Becoming.
  Transfiguration raises the vibratory rate of balance of physical cells from the coarser material to the rate of the radiant electronic fire body. The Oversoul descends in the fire body under transfiguration, causing the outer sheath to glister with the white Light of the Christ. Jesus had often disappeared (called translation), but his transfiguration was the vibration of his fire body shining through his outer physical sheath.
  All materiality fell from him at his transfiguration. “His face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.”—Matthew 17:2. His face glistered with the Light from within, visible and brilliant as the sun—even his clothes shone. Only three of his disciples could see his white fire body.—Edna Lister, May 19, 1959.

When the Father gives you a line of Light and responsibility to lift from the past—and it seems like a task, even to the point of a reprimand—bear in mind that it is an invitation to redeem your soul substance and to climb higher. The price you pay is to loosen the anchors to the past, to lift misused Substance, Power, and Mind to be absorbed in Light for new creations.
  You know that Light must absorb the old form before you can bring new creations into expression. Therefore, the greater your effort, the sooner the disintegration of old forms and reclaiming of misused substance can occur, and the faster the new creations can come forth. Hasten to lift your past; put more love and devotion into your worship and praise of God so that He may sooner grant you the rewards of outer success and fulfillment.
  The period from August 10 to October 20 is the soul-searching time for lifting the past, for disintegration of ugliness in form, for purification of that soul substance to fulfill your creations as your soul’s dreams and desires.—Edna Lister, October 9, 1959.

“Putting on the whole armor of God integrates your soul with the laws of absolute necessity.”—Edna Lister

Every symbol has a dual meaning, reflecting the power to create or to destroy, to integrate or to disintegrate. Jesus chose a barren fig tree to demonstrate this principle, a barren tree so as not to break the law by destroying what was still useful. Power must disintegrate the form of substance in order for a new form to manifest. You can create the new good only after the old not-good (which may be outright evil) is destroyed.
  For example, the handful of life sparks in an old, disintegrating rug forms the soul of the new rug. A symbol contains the whole Power that goes with the law, the principle that it represents. The spoken Word, “Let it come to pass,” which invokes and activates all life energies of everything connected with that principle. For example, when you speak the Word for healing, you invoke all the energies of the faith and strength of the guardians (those watching over the one in need), to heal him.
  Wisdom must have a lower, negative pole of disintegration to change wrong thinking, imagination, and desires or there could be no active pole of integration for ascension.—Edna Lister, November 3, 1959.

A gestating period is a time of integrating your past ideals into your new creations. You weave lines of Light into the present to carry them, and the past creations with them, into the future. Gestation is a waiting period between two positions, now and the future.
  Put all enemies—fear, doubt, self-pity, resentments, a critical attitude, etc.—on a cloud continent of Light and free your soul of the taints that have bound you so that you may return to your true place. Bring yesterday into now and carry now into tomorrow. Be one with God.—Edna Lister, February 4, 1960.

“Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”—Ephesians 6:14-17.
  Girding your loins with truth means to apply the emanations and absolute abstract principles as laws. You must have unity between appetitive soul, rational soul, and Oversoul. God’s unity penetrates and permeates everything as the principle of integration. To live in unity you must have harmony, equilibrium and balance, which the outer world views as coordination and adjustment.
  The six steps in putting on the whole armor of God integrates with the laws of absolute necessity: “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”—Matthew 6:33. “Agree with thine adversary quickly, whilst thou art in the way with him.”—Matthew 5:25. “Abstain from all appearance of evil.”—1 Thessalonians 5:22. “What is that to thee? Follow thou me.”—John 21:22. “I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.”—John 12:32. “This is Good! Let there be Light!”—Genesis 1.
  You cannot gird your loins until you are in the kingdom of heaven, in other words, ascended above a too earthy consciousness. The breastplate of righteousness enables you to agree with and adjust to an adversary. When your feet are shod with understanding, you know the meaning of “What is that to thee? Follow thou me.” Raise your shield of faith to abstain from all appearance of evil. The helmet of salvation means, “If I am lifted up, I will draw all to me.“ When you attract criticism, your sword of truth is to say, “This is good! Let there be Light!”—Edna Lister, June 6, 1960.

True love is the only integrative power that can establish your identity with God. Prayer holds your identity, your oneness with God as true soul integration. If enough people pray as creators to work out God’s ideas in love, they can save the world from crisis. To fraternize means to integrate within a group, to become as one. Yet you do not integrate your identity with the group, but everyone in the group must identify with God for true unity of heart, mind, and purpose—Edna Lister, October 31, 1961.

God uses a disintegrator, so declare that each disintegrator is a focal point for the release of God’s Light as the power of love. Name the disintegrators you can identify and declare that earth’s evil is absorbed through them as they are thus used. They are vulnerable to the Light, so declare that as they lend themselves to spreading propaganda, all the brainwashing they send out shall be absorbed. Idle words create after their kind, and definitely can be evil. When our Lord rode into Jerusalem that first Palm Sunday morning, we were all there, watching and praying, knowing that he would soon meet his destiny, or fate, as some prefer to name it. Our Lord had chosen to make the sacrifice that saved earth. How blessed is our Father to have created a Son so like Him in His image and likeness as flesh.
  Jesus gave up his life so that the world could be made safe. What greater proof of God’s integrity can there be than the glory of His risen Son? Now, two millennia later, we are still working, holding, praying for the final victory of the Light. When you pray in devotion and great love of God, every negative soul record comes under the law of disintegration and absorption. When you completely repent of sin, a mental body lotus petal opens and the record is wiped clean.—Edna Lister, May 1, 1962.

When you have integrity of heart, mind and purpose, and are loyal to God, nothing can touch your soul from the outside unless you allow it. Too many people think that God’s Power is not equal to the evil at work on earth, yet God has given us freedom to choose our own course of action. As long as man’s negative thoughts can disintegrate form, evil will continue to exist.
  When you ascend in consciousness, your mind opens to God’s almighty Power, and He is certainly more powerful than your troubles. You can lift any problem or negative condition when you declare that every life spark of your body—or anyone else’s, even your worst favorite’s—is filled with God’s perfect substance of Light. Remember the power of the spoken Word.
  Declare that the disintegrator’s circumstances and the conditions around him are pure spiritual substance, ready to become pure Light as perfect form. All creation proceeds from Light to color to tone to number and finally to the form you name. You can transform any condition of substance in form by the power of your spoken Word. To return to God, you must reach the point of expression where the impenetrable twofold Mother love ray of balanced integration/disintegration surrounds you. Say, “Here I am, Father,” and see only Light in devotion. That is the law. The taints of emotion, imagination, and thinking cannot touch your nerves then. The nerves quiver from the high vibration when you call on the Source. You must maintain your high contact during outer experiences to invoke the Light instantly.—Edna Lister, February 27, 1963.

Many souls undertake to build a body that ends in so severe a malformation that the result is either miscarriage (a spontaneous abortion) or no possibility of a normal life. This may seem to be a tragedy, but it serves a useful purpose for parents and child; parents must sacrifice their expectations for that child, for example.
  For the soul building the body, the process offers the perfect opportunity to withdraw its soul substance previously invested in earthly affairs and relationships. Only then can the soul reintegrate that misused or unwisely invested soul substance with the full living soul. To review early laws and integrate them, coordinating them with the new laws given, is good. The law governing our work is rigid and demands responsibility to hold all lines of Light as never before, making certain not to drop any small line. To make ascension into an atomic mental body perfect, you must review all the personal laws given from your first initiation in the very beginning. When you fish for an idea in the River of Life, you may contact cross-vibrations and must move higher in consciousness to reestablish contact with the idea. Do the next thing next with your whole being. Do not scatter, but gather yourself together. The death ray is the deepest blue purple, the ray of disintegration. This consuming ray disintegrates not only corpses in graves and other dead forms, but all the darkness and evil that needs disintegration.—Edna Lister, December 6, 1966.

Someone must always be there to speak the Word for a final ray of disintegration for chicanery and darkness embodied in the flesh.—Edna Lister, February 12, 1967.

Whatever you desire shall be granted “in due season”—not always instantly, but when the time is right. Disintegration is a great factor in miracles. If God grants the miracle at the wrong time—for example, when the death ray is predominating—it could wear out the body just by vibrating through it, causing the slow dissolution of cohesion among the life sparks.
  Once the timing for any creation is disarranged, nothing stops disintegration. Whatever it is will fall apart, and this kind of disintegration never can be repaired. It has happened in weddings where one party insisted on marrying at once only to be taken out of the body a few days or a few weeks later.
  Impatient selfishness always breeds despair and a gathering together of all debts, including those from the past, to be paid at once. When an embodied soul has insufficient coin of the realm in soul credits, the body pays.—Edna Lister, May 12, 1967.

Time is a succession of instants while space is a system of associated points. You perceive time by analysis, but space by synthesis. You can coordinate and associate these two dissimilar conceptions only through the integrating insight of personality. Some souls never do integrate time and space into a personal relationship. The initiations of the Love Emanation involve the death ray, and disintegration of all old thinking, emotions and imagination. The initiations then change into the dissolution of crystallizations within physical body, and the desire body’s vital centers.—Edna Lister, October 22, 1968.

Honor, loyalty, and integrity are the high points in character development. Next come logic, reason, discernment, discrimination, and discretion, followed by purity in imagination, thinking, and desires. Your excuses do not create the full honor of God. Logic is the abstract Mind of God, which is the expression of the Magna Carta. The love of Jesus Christ, the first begotten Son of God, is the universal integrator. Learn to love as he loves: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”—John 3:16.
